- • Nagoya is the gateway to Takayama and Shirakawa-go; winter trips need snow-equipped coaches.
- • Coaches carrying more than 10 passengers must be driven by a commercially licensed driver in a green-plate vehicle; self-drive is not allowed.
- • Expressway tolls depend on vehicle class: 29-seat coaches pay the large-vehicle band, 45-seat and larger the extra-large band.
